How to get water out of your Android speaker
Whatever Android phone you have, the basics are the same: drain, vibrate, air-dry, and avoid heat.
Open the Speaker Cleaner (Water Eject)Drain and dry the outside
Wipe the phone, remove the case, and hold it speaker-down. Tap gently to let gravity pull out loose water. If your phone shows a moisture-detected warning on the charging port, unplug and wait — it's there to prevent corrosion.
Use sound to shift droplets
Turn volume up, disconnect Bluetooth, and run our Speaker Cleaner. Water Eject uses a pulsing 165 Hz tone; Deep Clean sweeps a wider range. Hold the phone speaker-down while it plays. Some phones have two speakers — the earpiece too — so turn the phone over and repeat.
Let it air-dry
Leave the phone somewhere dry and airy for a few hours. A fan on a cool setting is fine. Avoid ovens, radiators and hairdryers. A sealed box with silica gel packs can help a little, but airflow matters more.
Signs you need repair
Persistent distortion, a phone that gets warm, a fogged camera, touch problems or charging faults point to water inside. Get it to a repair shop quickly; early cleaning reduces corrosion. PhoneTools is not affiliated with Samsung or Google.
